He joined the Ottawa Sooners in 2000 as an Offensive Assistant. In 2001, he became the Defensive Coordinator and led the Ottawa Sooners to 2 Manson Cup championships while boasting the best defense in the league in both seasons. He then became the Offensive Coordinator in 2003. Since then the Sooners have consistently led the league as the top offense. In 2004, his offense set a Sooners and a Canadian Junior Football record for the most points scored in a single season. In his 5 years as Offensive Coordinator he has helped to coach 4 different quarterbacks to League MVP honours. Bino started coaching Junior in 1997 as a Receivers’ Coach for the Ottawa Jr. Riders, helping them to win a Manson Cup in 1998. He came to the Sooners after an outstanding career at St Francis Xavier University where he was a first team All-Canadian receiver. He tied a school record for the most receptions in a single season, while finishing second in the country for receptions and yards. After his University career he spent time with the Ottawa Rough Riders and the Hamilton Tiger Cats.
