ANDY MCEVOY
HEAD COACH

 

Andy began his coaching career with Ottawa U where coached from 1991-2001.  During this time he won the Vanier Cup in 2000 as the Offensive Coordinator and made it to the Yates Cup in 2001 as a Head Coach.  He then went on to coach one year as a QB coach at Minnesota State and then came back to coach the Ottawa Jr Riders for the 2003 season.  In 2004 he went on to York University as the Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator. In 2006 he became the Defensive Coordinator and in 2007 he became the Head Coach.  

Andy played for the Ottawa Sooners winning a National Title in 1984 as a QB.

Andy’s knowledge and experience should prove to be a great asset for the Ottawa Sooners.
